Created in 2003, the Soul Flyers team is made up of a group sportsmen, bound together by their strong friendship and a shared passion for aerial sports. Loïc Jean-Albert, Valéry Montant, Claud Remide et Stéphane Zunino were the original members.
Together they were skydiving, BASE jumping, flying wingsuits and paragliders. they organized projects and aerial performances all over the world, via displays and expeditions.
Over the years, the team has changed.
For different reasons some members stopped, but some some new members arrived : Antoine Montant, Fred Fugen, Vince Reffet and Jean-Philippe Teffaud. The team has also faced the painful loss of some members (Valéry and Antoine Montant).
Their philosophy: The Soul Flyers are more than a team. It’s a state of mind that they pass on.
At the beginning of 2010, Fred and Vince decided to restart the team that was on a « stand by ». They are now the main athletes with their cameraman/photographer Jean-Philippe. Loïc, who became a plane and helicopter pilot, is still their mentor and adviser, and Stéphane is the designer of the BASE jumping gear used by the team (parachutes and wingsuits from the company FLYYOURBODY).
Fred and Vince, a really tight team.
They’ve been freeflying together for thirteen years and doing all these extreme aerial sports together. Thanks to many years of Freefly training (approximately 7000 jumps together) and the other aerial sports they do together, they manage to get extreme precision and a perfect synchronization of all their freefall moves and flights. Training and competitions have teached them to always seek a high level of performance, quality and security in everything that they do.
They’ve been SKYDIVE DUBAÏ athletes since the beginning of 2013, and RED BULL athletes since the beginning of 2012.
